Welcome back!

Welcome to our December blog!  There has been so many exciting things happening this month.  We visited Hall Hill Farm, we participated in our Christmas Performance, we enjoyed our Christmas parties, not to mention the numerous creative activities we have had fun participating in.  Have a look below to found out more….

Hall Hill Farm

We were very lucky that we were able to visit Hall Hill Farm and take our parents and grandparents along too.  We had a great time feeding and handling the animals, singing Christmas songs around the Christmas tree, visiting Santa and his reindeer Dasher, and riding on the tractor trailer….

Christmas Parties

We enjoyed two fantastic Christmas parties this year.  We danced lots and played party games.  We enjoyed some delicious party food and then we were visited by someone very special…..

Welcome back!

Welcome to our November blog!  We have been super busy this month and have had lots of exciting experiences with our friends.  We hope you enjoy looking at our photographs…..

Bonfire Night

We have been developing our gross motor and fine motor skills when making fireworks pictures this week.  By strengthening the muscles in our upper body we are developing our pencil grip and control of a mark making tool….

We were visited by Dinosaurs!

When visiting the Nature Garden one day we discovered a huge egg!  We wondered what could be inside…..

 

Perry thought it could be “an octopus!”

The next day we were visited by two baby dinosaurs….they must have hatched out of the egg….

Later that same day we were visited by the Mammy dinosaur…..a gigantic Tyrannosaurus Rex……..

Welcome back!

We cannot believe it is October already! Time flies when you are having fun in the Two Year Old Provision! We have had so much fun this month, have a look at what we have been up to......

Fruit and vegetables

The children have recently shown a big interest in fruit and vegetables.  This has led us to look closely at the inside of various fruits and vegetables, as well as explore them further in the home corner and in the outdoor water tray....

Our Halloween party

We had such a fun time at our Halloween party.  We all dressed up in our scary Halloween costumes and participated in lots of exciting activities.  We made play dough spiders, developed physical skills during messy play with jelly and made pumpkin faces with tissue paper and glue.  We enjoyed a delicious party snack and played party games too!!

Welcome back!

Hello again and welcome to a brand new year of our Two Year Old Provision.  It is hard to believe we have been open for a year now, time sure does fly when you’re having fun!  We would like to give a warm welcome to our new children who have just joined us.  We are sure you will have a fantastic and exciting time with us!

Messy times in the mud kitchen

This year we have introduced a mud kitchen to our outdoor area.  This provides our children with wonderful opportunities to be imaginative and creative as well as develop their gross motor skills and language and communication.  Have a look at what we have been up to….

More messy play

We just love to be messy in the Two Year Old Provision!! This week we had great fun exploring shaving foam in the large tuff spot tray.  Mrs Chisholm showed the children how to clap their hands so the foam flew through the air!!  She also encouraged the children to draw large circles in the tray, developing their upper body gross motor skills….
